Terms and Conditions of Hire

A deposit of $300 per week is required within 7 days to confirm your booking. The balance is
payable prior to commencement of your holiday ( cheques to be received 7 days prior to hire.)
A security bond of $600 cash is required on arrival and will be refunded in 7 days if the boat is
returned clean and in good condition. Any damage or additional cleaning will be charged for at cost

For Christmas, New Year and Easter hires, half the balance is payable one month prior to the
commencement of your holiday. .

Fuel used is charged for at the termination of hire.

Cancellation of any booking must be made at least 2 months prior to commencement of
hire and no money will be refunded until the full period of the booking has been re-booked.
An administration fee of $100 applies on refunds. The booking may be postponed without charge
and the deposit will be held until the new date is decided.

The hiring is made on the understanding that the craft is placed at the disposal of the hirer on the date
desired, unless the management is prevented from doing so by mechanical breakdown, excessively high
river or by other circumstances beyond our control. In this case the deposit will be refunded in full to
the hirer.

The number of people on board is limited to the number of berths by law. At least one
member of the crew must be over 21 years of age. The boat must be driven in daylight
hours only. No pets, firearms, or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is permitted.        
ALL HOUSEBOATS ARE NON SMOKING.

The hire will begin at 3pm on the first day and the boat must be returned and moored by 9am,
and vacated by 10am on the last day. The management reserve the right to refuse any hire without
stating the grounds for refusal.
